This acquisition formalizes a relationship that has been building for years. Creative looked great but also served a purpose. And content was human-led, driving meaningful and measurable business outcomes.

As a result of these shared beliefs, over time, it became clear that this wasn’t just a partnership but a strategic alignment with huge potential.

Although the acquisition was finalized in January 2026, the transition was intentionally phased throughout the first quarter.

Today, Clixable’s team, capabilities, and client relationships are fully integrated into Cannonball Digital. The goal was never to force change too quickly, but to ensure continuity for both teams and for the clients we serve. That measured approach allowed us to preserve what made Clixable effective, while strengthening it with additional resources, expanded capabilities, and a broader strategic framework.

Expanding Leadership with Proven Creative Strategy

A key part of this transition is the addition of Mark Henderson, founder of Clixable, who now serves as Senior Director of Creative Services at Cannonball Digital.

Mark brings more than 25 years of experience leading teams and developing marketing solutions for organizations ranging from local businesses and nonprofits to nationally recognized brands. He’s built his career helping organizations take complex ideas and turn them into clear, straightforward messaging and creative that people can actually understand and act on, and his leadership strengthens Cannonball’s ability to align creative execution with business strategy—an increasingly critical need as marketing becomes more complex and more interconnected.

Reflecting on the transition, Mark shared:

“When I founded Clixable in 2020, it had more to do with proving an idea than it was chasing a dream. And having found some success, I never thought I’d return to a larger organization unless it was an absolute perfect match. Cannonball was one organization Clixable found itself partnering with time and time again, not just because they did good work, but because they were good people. So, when Justin approached me with the idea of joining forces, I already knew that Cannonball checked the boxes necessary for me to make such a big decision. Ultimately, stepping away from my business wasn’t abandoning a dream—it was a chance to return to what I truly love, fully focused and energized by Cannonball’s team, culture, and the opportunity to build what’s next—together.”
